I’ve worked with a lot of musicians; mainly singer/songwriters... those brave souls who are not only composers and poets but performers, baring their souls and singing their hearts out. I have been lucky in getting to know many of them personally, and counting not a few as friends.

I made my 1st contacts through an organization called OutMusic, a now well-known group which supports and presents music by gay musicians of all genders, persuasions and styles.

One gig led to another, and I became known within the community, and was honored at one point to stage a one-man show of my portrait work here in NYC.

My first CD package was “A Love Worth Fighting For”; a compilation of 18 songs by a wide variety of artists. I got to shoot about half of the artists, AND got to hear some great music.

Since that time I’ve shot cover work for almost a dozen artists, ranging from relatively simple portraits to the more intriguing concept works for Amy Fix and Andy Monroe. On Grant King’s latest work “bodies of Water” you can see the new ‘pencil drawing’ effect printing I’ve developed which he opted to use for his portraits.

To book a session, use the link on this page... or call me. I’ll be glad to toss ideas around with you.
